Matthew C. Hines graduated from Georgia State University with his Juris Doctorate (law degree) and his Masters in Business Administration.

His legal career began working for Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C., a prominent labor and employment law firm headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina. After beginning law school, he worked with Eidson & Associates, P.C., mainly focusing on personal injury and complex litigation cases.

He next clerked with the Honorable Thelma Cummings Moore at the Fulton County Superior Court. This line of work consisted of reviewing documents submitted by the attorneys and advising the Judge on the proper ruling. Mr. Hines furthered his legal career next by working with the Rockdale Public Defender’s office, representing indigent defendants weekly and helping to defend their rights. Thereafter, Mr. Hines worked with Eastman & Apolinsky, LLC, a successful personal injury firm located in Decatur, Georgia.

Shortly before establishing The Hines Law Firm, P.C., Mr. Hines worked at The Law Offices of M. Kathryn Davis working on probate and real estate matters.

Mr. Hines is a member of the American Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyer’s Association, the Cobb County Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Association.
