COBB COUNTY – The client, a naturalized US citizen, 22 years old, with no prior record, was allegedly arrested for DUI and then observed by the transporting Officer pulling a baggie of coke out of his pants and dropping it in the back of the police car.

He has been formally charged by ACCUSATION instead of Indictment with one felony:

  • Cocaine Possession

and 5 misdemeanors:

  • Tamper with Evidence
  • DUI and
  • 3 other traffic type charges

THIS CLIENT HAS BEEN OFFERED PRETRIAL DIVERSION TODAY BY THE COBB COUNTY DA’s OFFICE

If he successfully completes a 6 month program of:

  • drug screens
  • counseling, and
  • no new charges,

his entire case (INCLUDING THE DUI) will be DISMISSED.  More to come.
